Why is it funny? He wasn't even that wrong. He said 4GB of RAM + 2 GB of VRAM, so it was 6GB and that was pretty close to the current 8GB (Sony almost went with 4GB). The GPU he said is absolutely spot on. The only part that was really incorrect was the CPU, but it wasn't a ridiculous assumption since that Cell processor did exist.
So he did get wron the CPU and a split memory architecture, RAM was close, GPU was spot on, not a bad prediction at all. The pricing at 500 bucks wasn't that wrong (X1 went with that), and with a Cell it would probably end up like that.
