Yes, in complete agreement.
Even the saturated colours in OOT3D threw me off, but maybe its just nostalgia blinding my perception. There something animated yet macabre about how sharp and harsh all of the edges in the original were, even when I saw twilight princess I felt like it wasn't a true successor to OOT's artstyle :(
