It does look nice and I'll admit Windows has come a long way in the last few years, but after all the BS I endured with Windows XP, I'm just not ready to trust them again yet.

:o windows xp was flawless, take that back! or... at least after SP1 it was. What was the issues you had with it out of interest Nova?

I will do no such thing! I learned computer stuffs in school starting with MSDOS (don't remember the exact version). The fancier ones had Windows 3.1. They all ran beautifully. Then at home we had a Windows 95 PC run by sweet ass Pentium 166Mhz which was a damn fine machine. That thing treated us so well, we skipped right over everything up to XP. And then XP.. blue screens of death as far as the eye could see, system files being corupt for no apparent reason, and just regular random crashes and bugs. PC Hardware really seemed to go to hell around then too. We burnt through 3 or 4 XP machines. I wasn't as computer savy then as I was now, so that's really as specific as I can be. Knowing what I know now, I could have probably fixed most of them, but damn..

Then with the whole Vista fiasco.. We just went Mac. I have a billion consoles and games, so lack of Mac games is not an issue for me. My parents current computer is a 2009 Mac Mini running Leopard that's been problem free, and mine is a 2009 Macbook Pro running Yosemite. The only issue I'm having with it is the battery needs to be replaced soon. iStat Menus says it's been cycled 758 times and only holds 64% of its original charge potential. So basiclly very happy with Apple computers so far.
