Clearly, the reason they changed their stance is because PS4 is kicking XB1's ass. 

And clearly the PS3 changed was because Sony was getting their ass kicked.

It's an ever-changiing cycle of eating humble pie, and right now Microsoft and Nintendo are both on a roll due to tasting it.

Yes, you're right. 

Sony and Microsoft both are quick in changing and adapting to current situation. Nintendo, still stubborn as ever.

Microsoft deserves this huge sales for their heavy effort in making XB1 very attractive to consumers.

And in the end, we gamers wins.
