While I do believe that this remastered version of GTA is pretty much the same game that came out last year, there are LOTS of people that didn't buy the first game (myself included). Did those people miss out on anything. Probably, but only for a year. Now if we have a next gen console, we can finally buy the game. (At least to those who were patient anyways.)
Of course I still wouldn't buy that game even to this day because I find that game boring.
