Back when I was 12 gore was hardly as graphic as it was now. I played goldeneye, eternal darnkess and GTA3 with no problems. But I certainly feel there would be far more impact with the image quality we have today. Id probably turn a blind eye but I wouldn't say yes to the OPs question, mostly because parents like that would probably come back and abuse you once they actually see what the game contains lol
