I love Atari and I've owned more than a hundred 2600 games. That being said, I can honestly say that ET is absolutely terrible. It's just not any fun repeatedly falling into and slowly levitating out of pits . Half of the time you emerge you immediately fall back in again which makes the entire experience dreadfully tedious. Once you figure out how the gameplay works (or read the manual) on the overworld it doesn't get much better because there simply isn't any aspect of the game that is actually any fun.
1/10 - not the worst game ever but still unplayable tripe
