Yes as there are plenty of jap centric games making the generational leap. The shift will start in 2015 and in 2016 we will see it really take off. Most devs on the jap side of gaming are usually a year behind on the development cycle so this is to be expected.
It may not beat the 3ds, but it will def be a success overthere and win the console market.
