If becoming exclusive can guarantee more sales to balance the loss of sales from multiplatform then they should definitely do it. It's more beneficial for devs to just focus on one platform and can optimize its fullest potential.
If they do actually become exclusive then that'd be pretty sweet for Playstation to have an exclusive Soccer game to go in line with their other sports exclusive ie. MLB The Show. (Sony did have their own NBA game once)
