I think whichever console wins Black Friday (and perhaps, November) depends on which one is stocked more. Both systems will sell out, so basically, whoever shipped more consoles wins. Reading from GAF, it looks like several stores have substantially more PS4 bundles in stock so the PS4 might have a chance to make a comeback :D

who do you think will have the bigger supply in the US this year? Sony outsold the X1 3:1 this year until November WW, So they will obviously be producing more all the time. The downside is they need to spread their shipments all over the world. Have Sony the ability to even produce all they can sell WW this year?

MS do because they've been building up stock all year long due to low sales. It's a really tough question to answer but I think you guys are right, whoever ships the most to the US and sells out second wins. Maybe not November on it's own but Nov + Dec combined.

Honestly, I think Sony would.  Sony has been keeping the production of PS4's up throughout the entire year, so factories will have plenty of space reserved for it.  This would make it easier to ramp up production.  On the other hand, MS dialed back production greatly thoughout the year because they had so much supply.  I doubt factories have reserved as much space for the XBO.

And if you look at NewEgg, which is hardly the go to place to buy a console (most definitely ranking behind Wal-mart, Gamestop, Amazon, Target, Best Buy, etc.), yet they had over 7,000 of them and will probably be getting more.
