I heard the Gamestop bestseller list is just an advertising list. But can't give u a souce. I don't remember.


this is common practice for all big sites to some degree. Amazon for example MS pay to have their Deals listed at the top and their console being first on the tab. 


we're talking about rankings, not postings or promotions on the main page.

it's all the same, the whole site can be one big paid product placement right down to the best sellers. i was just expanding on his idea. 


um, no..it isn't the same.  

one's about ad listings.  other is about sales-based rank discrepancies between various online/physical retailers.
