All the previous Playstation consoles had a price reduction of one third of it's launch price before the end of it's 2nd full year.
PS1 reduced it's launch price by a third from $299 to $199 after 8 months in.
PS2 reduced it's launch price by a third from $299 to $199 after 1 year 7 months in.
PS3 reduced it's launch price by a third from $599 to $399 after 1 year 10 months in.
It's hard to say if Sony will continue this trend of price cuts of 1/3 before the end of it's 2nd year,
..but if they wanted to continue their trend we would have a $265 PS4 by the end of November 2015.
