My friend was stuck in traffic for 3 hours because people decided to block up the Shoreway here in Cleveland...Ambulances couldn't get to the hospitals downtown and it was pretty much a disaster. Now apparently people want to Boycott and protest Black Friday. Itll never happen, but I am going to have a bad night if people try stopping me from going into work because they wanna protest.

Same deal down in San Diego. Fortunately, my flight is later tonight and traffic won't affect me.

We talked about that in class and debated whether protests like these are able to send a bigger message and allow the impact into people's daily lives vs alienating people and making them against a cause further as it negatively affects their life and they don't see the big picture of it.

It for sure puts more people against their cause. I am sure the people in those first responders who were stuck won't be too sympethtic to their cause. Or people picking up their loved ones or people who have personal life emergencies. However someone brought up a good point here. If we arrested each protestor blocking the Shoreway and fined them $250 each we would have enough money to give the entire Cleveland Police Force body cameras. What I wish all officers had honestly.
