Brown ignored a lawful order from a law enforcement officer who was following up on a call from dispatch for a man matching Brown's description.
Brown subsequently reached into a patrol car to strike a law enforcement officer in the face repeatedly.
Brown attempted to take a law enforcement officer's firearm.
That's according to the testimony and evidence as presented to the grand jury.
This doesn't mean Brown "had it coming" but the results of the incident really shouldn't have been terribly unpredictable to most people with a firm grasp of what all that entails.
