I can't say i've ever been "distracted" by the design of any console while playing games on it, unless it was a frigging handheld.
XBO design is essentially nice, good angles, good surfaces, good venting, what isnt good about i however, is how cheap and nasty it looks on the bottom, and how BIG it is.
