Even if it didn't, Nintendo isn't looking towards selling that many by year end. In March 2014, Iwata told reporters that the companies aims to sell 3.6 million of Wii U consoles all the way March 2015. Sales were at 6.17 as of March 31st 2014 and now it is 7.29 as of September 30th 2014 so they have sold 1.12 million so far so they just need to sell another 2.48 million. in just over 6 months.

Wii U doesn't need to average that amount of sales a week to hit 10m year end at all. Nintendo can do their own forecasts and expectations by themselves.
