Well its not a bad country and its very wealthy, but its not exactly the best place to host such a major event. In the summer tempretures exceed 50 degrees celcius (122 F), its a tiny country with a population of just 2 million people (90% are foreign and most are labourers), and its own football team is not very good. So its surprising that Qatar was chosen over USA, Japan and Australia. It just doesn't make sesne. I don't even know how will they even fill up the stadiums with such a small population.
