Seems fair enough. No excuse for lying to sell a product.

Like family sharing, kinect essencial to the system, KZ:SF exclusive to x1, so many games that maybe some will have to be pushed back + monthly spins? Yes seems like a bad thing to make so much unfufilled promises to sell consoles. But if you preffer to call that lying I won't oppose you.

except, just like dlna or standby, they were never used in actual ads. There is a difference.

You said lie not incorrect or misleading ad.

And I'm certain when they dekinected X1 they showed an ad with it but the price of without it and weren't clear.

An E3 public speech and all the articles based on it, plus all PR stunt is as much advertisement as paid ad on tvtvtvtv don't you think?

what about ads that show fottage of a different system but is labeled as coming to one platform and failing to mention others? If you say omission is good and lying on every format that isn't a paid ad is no concern then ok you can just fit all conditions to say only Sony have done a mistake. And about social media what would you say about all the paid opinion pieces and articles or About MS employees that hype the system without mentioning they work for the maker?
