TBH if someone tells you something   he did more than was needed to enlighten you or give you something to think about etc.

I mean the "prove it" nonsense is the reason why 90% of people cant think for themselves. They want someone to do it for them. (or they accept anything as log as it is somewhat logica without considering that it might be bullshit at all)
And this is a normal forum/website. Just think about how empty it would be if everyone would need to have evidence for their claims.

Because someone is trying to disprove your claim.

So how can you prove your right and he is wrong, if you can't back it up?

Remember "what can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence".

Its not about them being lazy but about you being right. That's why proof is vital in a debate. :)
