I will just say that you must have not used touchscreens in a bit to think they are inaccurate. And even if their less tactile nature is something that you initially aren't used to, most people usually get accustomed to it in less than a week.
Having said that, the ideal phone for you would be a Blackberry Passport (I cannot believe I am recommending a BB phone to anyone) being that you have very unique requirements and are hesitant to embrace change.
If you choose to expand your views a bit then go for an Iphone 6 (can't also believe that I am recommending an Iphone). Its more of a smartphone than BB will ever be and its extremely easy to get into and very simple to use. If you want to get the best smartphone your money can buy (even though it most likely will end up being cheaper than an Iphone) then an android phone is the way to go. And in this regard there are tons to choose from. I would recommend; OnePlus One $300-$350, Sony Xperia Z3 $550-$650, LG G3 $550-$650, Google Nexus 6 $650-$700 and Galaxy Note 4 $750-$800.
Of course, if you are in the states or a country that offers phones on contract you can get all those phones for a lot less to begin with.
