I'm appalled at how hard it is to find a really good 32 TV nowadays, especially it seems in the US. 32" is my preference as well and I paid 550EUR for the best 32" model I could find late last year to get above all picture quality I could be happy with (which as always comes coupled with a host of features I don't need, though a few very nice ones as well). To get a really good 32 inch TV you have to go for a discontinued model it seems.

Anyway, I think this is your best bet: http://www.amazon.com/LG-Electronics-32LB5600-32-Inch-1080p/dp/B00KVLEM7K/ref=sr_1_4?s=tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1416876519&sr=1-4
The new LGs are a great bang for the buck of the ones I've seen here in Europe, especially with their direct backlighting which makes for great viewing from a lot of angles.

After reading about "the lottery" in the first review of that model you posted, I would be vary.

That's definitely one thing that was worrying to me about the Samsung...It sucks that they can get away with doing something like that to be honest.

I checked your LG one and I'm really leaning towards it. The ratings are great and I'm really surprised as to how many people were saying the sound is great. I won't be using the TV sound as I'll be playing with a headset, but it's great for my brothers who use it to watch TV.

I checked the final price on it and it comes up to 360$. the Samsung one as 334$
