Why Doesn't Sega Make Sonic Sequels?

Your in the minority with that opinion, both games have over 8 for user score on metacritic, if ur gonna make a sequel for a sonic game might might as well do it for the ones that the fans liked the most.  I'm mainly talking about full fledged console games, I also know Sonic Rush got a sequel but that's a handheld game.

Trying to figure out what the fans want is exactly what got Sega into this mess. Screw metacritic, just make games 4 each individual fanbase.

OG SA2 got good scores too.

Never played any of the SA games so that's why its absent from the OP.
