The reality is more consoles = more software sales from a macro perspective. One only has to look at multi-platform sales to see this. Very few ps3 versions sell more then the 360 counterparts. And I think this will be reflected in the software sales. Now don't go on about the ps3 will have a better attachment ratio BS as its BS. The more people that own a console the lower the attachment ratio.
I think all the unofficial 360 bundles plus the larger install base will easily counter the ps3 official bundle at-least in the short term. If the official ps3 bundle lasts for a long time like motorstorm then it might be a different story but that remains to be seen.
In regards to the hardware increase I believe the ps3 will see a higher percentage increase but a lower increase in regards to actual hardware shifted, in NA. The situation in Europe will probably be the opposite.
So I believe the 360 will sell more software. But both will do extremely well.
