Not sure if you're trying to troll me but it's from a longer article, written by a guy about his lvoe experiences and in the context, I'm 100% sure it's about actually waiting. 

If you've ever been "that one" in the relationship, the one waiting for a call, for a text back, for your partner to turn up hours late, you'd understand :3
