#40: Super Mario World (Nintendo, 1991) - SNES
There's nothing to be said about this game that hasn't been said a bazillion times. It's the most cliche choice for a game on "best of all time" list and I'm willing to bet money that this game will appear on at least 90% of the lists. It controls beautifully, it has catchy as hell songs (despite being just variations of the same theme, which is amazing), it's the debut of Yoshi, it's colorful... It's fucking Super Mario World, moving on.
#39: Fire is evil, ice is good. Gotcha.
