Glad it's scoring well, Brawl was one of my favorite games last gen. Love the crazy amount of content, music, and Nintendo's push to increase my favorite game franchise's popularity. MOAR FIRE EMBLEM. *froths at the mouth*

For people crying hypocricy, there's plenty of rabid fans that apply, but keep in mind that it's definitely possible to find fault with one review and not another based on the merits of the review itself. If one review is too harsh for something that doesn't bother many people, and another game doesn't have many faults to begin with, I don't see how it's hypocritical to like one review and not the other.

Note: I haven't played either game in question, so I can't speak to which faults either might have. I just don't think it's fair to have to either accept all reviews or ignore all of them. Nothing wrong with coming to individual conclusions.

Not exactly. You can disagree with a review all you want but when you make a general comment about a site for its reviews ("IGN is trash anyways", "you can't spell ignorance without IGN", "I stopped caring about IGN years ago"), then you most certainly can't praise them when it suits you. Well, you can but it's still hypocritical. Of course that is not limited to Ninty fans. I've seen other users being hypocritical about IGN and Gamespot. And to an extent Polygon.
