i still own hydlide. it sucked but was alright for a nes game. its main flaw was that it took an hour of killing the weakest enemies in the game over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over over and over and over to increase your stats enough to stand a chance against anything else.
in the end i brought out the game genie so that i could experience more than just the first section of land. the game was bloody hard. but hardness is a requirement in a game that can be beaten in 25 min providing you don't die.
