Look, for 90% of the population, the marginal difference between upscaled 1080p and native 1080p is negligible. People just don't really notice, or care. There are a lot more important things than resolution. Both the One and the PS4 will be held back by their weak CPUs, not the GPUs in the end any way, so I wouldn't expect a huge difference down the road.
