Well if you know the history of Hawaii it's not too surprising.

American and Europeon buisness men did overthrow their queen partly do to US actions... then did nothing to put the queen back in power.

Then they were annexed by the US.

Also a game where you are killing nothing but jewish zombies by a german guy would likely be seen as worse.

While a British guy being sent into northern and southern ireland to kill irish zombies i bet would in fact also bring up some complaints.

Capcom has every right to make the game... and people have every right ot be offended.  No one has a right to tell other people whether they deserve to be offended or not.

Oh I am well aware of why the racism exists in Hawaii. It is just a good example of how racism exists against whites in a very real form. People are welcome to be offended by whatever they want no matter how stupid it might seem to someone with an outside perspective. My point is that there is nothing special about the oppression of blacks in American history. If you want to complain about racism in a video game you had better be able to defend it. If it is as simple as the skin color of someone you are killing then you are going to get torn apart and rightfully so. We have been slaughtering white zombies for a long as time now and putting a ban on using any other color would be far more racist than this game could ever be.

You may think I am in the wrong for passing judgment like that, but I honestly think there are clear lines where taking offense to something just becomes stupid. Should there be a huge feminist backlash against The Legend of Zelda, or Mario series of games? It has big strong men rescuing poor defensless women which can easily be interprated as sexist. Is the Final Fantasy series racist for never having a black lead character? There are very blurry lines on what is or is not considered offensive or over the line as far as the politically correct world goes. Sometimes you just have to tell people to suck it up and stop being so sensitive because it is silly to be offended by something. Whether or not this is one of those cases is up to debate, but I see it as clearly an issue that is blown out of proportion by overly sensitive people.
