Here's a quote I found that broke my heart when I realised it was true: ""Am I in love?" he writes. "Yes, since I am waiting. The other never waits. Sometimes I want to play the part of the one who doesn't wait; I try to busy myself elsewhere, to arrive late; but I always lose at this game: whatever I do, I find myself there, with nothing to do, punctual, even ahead of time. The lover's fatal identity is precisely: I am the one who waits."" Also, waffles. |
Last night i was pretty keyed up and couldn't focus on anything, today i'm better and have plenty to distract me. My job's got me doing a bunch of junk (which i should, in fact, be doing at this very moment), then i have trivia night (which is also a school function, but i'm pretty sure she's not coming, and she's not on my team in any event. Although if she does show to that i can ask her number there...), have to pick up Smash Bros at Gamestop on the way to trivia night, so i can crack that open when i get home, do my Friday load of laundry, watch Korra, play Smash, weekend of writing a paper, then Thanksgiving.
So i've got a shitton of stuff going on right now with or without her.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
