Yup, normally I would have pre-ordered The Order, Bloodborne... Far Cry 4 before that, maybe even DriveClub (which I ended up getting anyway, and I am pretty happy with it).
But now no way, I wait until some kind of tech analysis is run on a game to see if it works (I got DC because I did not care much for the online features to begin with, hence the reasoning behind seeing some analysis or information before hand).
I would not have gotten Assasins Creed:Unity right away, the problems seem to be too big right now, but thankfully I am no AC fan... but this is another story.
EDIT: I am in Canada, here the games are 70$ since the new generation started, add the season passes they try to sell you (implying the game is not really complete)... some games can go above 100$, this is slowing my impulse A LOT, just like when arcade games started to charge 0.50$ instead of quarters for credits... I stopped caring.
thankfully we have games in different price ranges now, from 10$ all the way to the big bundles... I always get the vanilla version and treat is as "the game".
