It would suck for me because of my data cap and crappy internet. Took me 3 days to download PvZ GW, then I had 10GB left for the last 10 days of the month.
Besides that I like going to the shop, have a chat with the owner, find some old titles for next to nothing, or get a couple extra pre-order bonuses even though I never pre-order. Plus it's generally cheaper for new releases. I rather have something physical then a file. Even for PC games, Civ beyond earth, much nicer in a box with full size poster, manual and nice fold out sleeve, delivered on release day, same price as digital. It's also trivial to keep the M rated games away from my kids, instead of setting up separate accounts for them and figuring out parental controls etc. Plus I don't have to worry about the hdd filling up, deleting old games is no problem. A broken console won't make me have to redownload all my games. Yeah, I can get off the couch for all that :)
