If certain consoles can't acheive 1080p now, what happens in a couple years?

What happens? What happens already now, people who care 1080 playing games on PC and pray consoles don't dumb down games again sadly they already do...

They already do? Talk like that just makes you sound ignorant. Here, have some info and make of it what you will. Taken from Steam.

• ~50% of Steam users are using less 4GB of CPU RAM or less
• ~88% are using CPUs with 4 cores or less
• ~75% are using GPUs with less than 2GB or RAM
• ~95% are using monitors/displays with 1080p or less

But somehow, consoles (PS4/XB1) are limiting PCs? I think some PC gamers aren't actually being very realistic. They don't seem to realize that even within their platform they are a very vocal minority. They seem to take what is "possible" with PCs as the norm. But thats all so far from the truth its not even funny.

Steam user, primary computing device runs on a Bay Trail Atom, integrated graphics, 2GB RAM, 768p display.
