If certain consoles can't acheive 1080p now, what happens in a couple years?

Well not to be rude but you would say that. You can see by your dp that you like certain graphic styles. 

 

Just because devs are not cating to your "style" does not mean they dont have an art style. An art style can be a huge range. Who are you to say whats a style and what is not?

No one (apart from a person that may or may not buy their games of course) but I am just saying that instead of trying to bruteforce everything, developers will have to think of other ways to impress people with graphics

Not every game has to look like anime or "colorful" to impress me and I do praise a lot of games that don't look like anime or "colorful" but has awesome art style that can impress people anyway

Oh and please don't be so quick to assume things based on people's Display Picture... Yes, I love anime/colorful graphics but that doesn't mean anime/colorful art style is all I like... One of the reasons I upgraded my PC to a 970 (and will upgrade a few more things) is so that I can play games like the Witcher 3 (and many others) which has great art style and it obviously doesn't look like anime
