Yep. As I always said, Microsoft is better at dealing with consumer perception than Sony. Sony also never saw fit to force bundle any peripherals even if it came at a loss. As Jack Tretton said when people asked why Sony didn't follow MS with force bundling the Eyetoy. Its a stupid question to ask them to begin with. They started to major Camera gaming trend and MS just popularized it. Sony never...ever saw fit to force the consumer into anything they didn't want. As you can see Sony has always profited off of the Eyetoy hence the newer iterations.

Have to agree that MS market their products well, although I think Sony have improved a lot this gen. To force the consumer has definitely backfired, have read that the PS4 camera is selling well, just wonder if it will it ever get utilized fully and become a must have peripheral, I use mine for voice commands atm more for fun than anything, still I think it was worth it. :)

I don't think Sony marketed their product better than MS (In fact I think Microsofts marketing is still better outside of Sony's destiny bundle). Sony got the hype and also they are more trusted worldwide than Microsoft. Its a tough sell for Microsoft naturally world wide when they both launch. In America specifically its a battleground because they are so similar, but little things like friends or exclusives can change the tide of the fight. The PS4 camera will have games for it. Sony never really lacks the games for it, its just the hype behind the games. Again...their marketing still isnt on level with MS for me. Microsoft tends to focus on a tight group of games and market the crap out of them while Sony develops a fleet and can only market for few. They spread themselves too thin. This gen they promised to slow it down, but even when they slow down what they put out is still more. Lets stay tuned and see if it works. I love both my Xbone and PS4 right now though.

Yeah, agree MS are still top at marketing. I think the UK is the same as US it's tough for both and good call on the little things, friends do make a difference, who has what influences the rest and then if one gets a great game for whatever system, your friends tend to follow, I have witnessed this. Ha ha yeah Sony do the more is best approach hoping something sticks, where as MS tend to do less but make them stick. I don't think either will lack for games both seem intent on providing great games. Even so early in the gen it's great time to own them both, I just got the PS4 for now, it's getting more tempting but if I hold out the X1 for me is properly when Halo 5 drops. :)
