They could have but not yet.
They have begun a fire sale like we've never seen before. Sony are still selling the PS4 at the price they launched at. A few BF and Xmas bundles don't mean they've responded. The way I see it, they can sell every PS4 they can possibly get into the US market this Xmas at their current prices. If they cut the price and respond to MS they will just sell out quicker and Sony will make a lot less money than if they sold the same number for the current price.
The thing people forget is that Sony will sell a ridiculous amount WW this year. MS won't and so are able to put most of their units to the US and as i've said sell them all in a firesale. I honestly think the company who can ship the most to the US this xmas will win there. If the Xbox is selling better but sells out then sales will go to the
the PS4 and vica versa.
