I think the article is saying it made a comeback from the most hated console reveal of all time to selling well in its first year.


I disagree or people don't remember Sony last generation.  I mean when they said if you can't afford it get a second job that pretty much did them in for a year or two.  I mean Sony was coming off of a 120-130M unit seller in PS2.  


I wasn't much into forums back then but Xbox PR was all over the place. They literally tried to change gaming without a foundation to talk through. Replacing Don Mattrick with Phil Spencer was the best comeback i'd ever seen because it all happened within a year. PS3 comeback took like 3.
