big userbase. Though every gen has that at the start so I'm not sure why devs are so scared of moving on this time in particular. It would sell the new gen a lot more if they would do that. It's kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy that 7th gen will stay higher if you don't support 8th gen with more exclusive stuff.
