Hey, I'm with you, but studies and reports of a 100% recovery in cases such as these are minute and few.

There has been talk of maybe giving a a child electroconvulsive therapy in the case of having the child getting amnesia and forgetting what happened the past few weeks or month.

There are hurdles, however, such as is it the humane thing to do? If the kid forgets what he/she did, and what happened prior that may have caused them to commit murder, should they be in prison?


 Well, it's only humane if, when asked, they accept the treatment. If not, then I guess there really is no other option
 than retribution, however the death penalty should never be used, people can always change there mind at any time.
