But I don't believe that's the case here. My guess is that the engine has a load which doesn't favor PS4's architecture that much - even DF said the game relies heavily on CPU performance. This is surprising for many as we have 2014 and the secret sauce of GPGPU which will save us all but this engine is different.

I wasn't saying it in reference to ACU, just 'parity' in general (should have been clearer, sorry). I don't think it's the case with ACU. This seems to relate more to Ubi betting on the wrong horse (architecture wise) when designing their new engine, and then not wanting to delay ACU by the amount of time it would take to rework the engine to work around the CPU. The PS4 and X1 were fucked over equally in this situation :p
