The Xbox one has a slightly better CPU and a slightly worse GPU than the PS4. AC: Unity is a cpu limited game, thus the Xbox one performs slightly better.

I believe the AC engine has a similar issue that is usually seen in engines that run mmorpgs, it is cpu bound and not really multi threaded.
