Or could the game become a critical succes if gameplay turns out to be solid. Personally I think the game is already doomed to score lower than 80 due to the reasons I explained, which ironically are all into bayonetta 2 which scores over 90, I own and love the game.

I mean, Bayo2 proves that a linear, solo game can indeed accomplish amazing things. So if Order scores piss-poor or not will be on its own shoulders, not some perceived bias against this style of gameplay. Captain Toad will soon release as a completely single-player, offline experience and I wouldn't be remotely surprised if it scored very, very highly.

That only happens with Nintendo games though. Reviewers have a different standard of reviewing Sony's games. That's why Driveclub was criticised in most reviews for not being open-world, even though that was a design choice. Critics wouldn't judge this game for what it is, but for what it isn't.
I'm sure the game will be awesome though, all of Ready At Dawn's games have been awesome in both story and gameplay, and have been short, incredible experiences.
