lord_of_flood said: #47 - Custom Robo: One of Nintendo's more niche series, though it's one I rather enjoy. The idea of the game is fighting with 1 foot tall robos that you can customize with different bodies, guns, bombs, pods, and leg parts that all change up how you play. Each part is quite different from one another and has a different effect on the way you play with that combination of parts. It really gets my inner child going, as it's all about putting parts together in different combinations in order to have entirely new ways to play the game. Sure, the story is kind of half-baked, but the core robot fighting is a lot of fun. Hint for #46 - This song appeared in the game. Also, there is an anime series that only exists within the universe of this game, and its three main characters are Strawberry, Blueberry, and Cranberry. |
Sad no one guessed my #46...
#46 - No More Heroes: A game that just oozes with a strange sense of style, this is probably one of the more underrated games on the Wii. Killing things feels oddly good in this game, as the motion-controlled finishers actually make things feel more visceral. I'm not really sure the game would work nearly as well without them. It can get rather demented at times, both humorously and... not so humorously (seriously, the final boss is pretty screwed up). Also, lightsabers.
Hint for #45 - You can play as two characters in this 2D action game: one is an amnesiac ninja and the other is a princess possessed by the spirit of a foul swordsman. The spectacular art style in this game easily makes it one of the most visually appealing games on the Wii/any last generation console.
