They want to stop something that isn't happening at all?

Its not hapenning on "PSN" per say cause they don't let you change your user names. But its easy to see stuff like that happen on other online communities. You don't actually have to go in and screw up first to learn a lesson you already know.

OT: Just charge $10/$20 per name change and limit the changes to once per year. Problem solved.


Not sure what online communites its happening on since Xbox Live charges $10 to change it and if someone's a troll you report the person's Xbox Live account no matter what his Gamertag is. Is it a big problem on Steam?

But the thing is Sony's saying "We want to stop that" as if other gaming communities don't have the perameters already in play. If Xbox Live has been allowing username changes with certain restrictions for almost 10 years why can't Sony get the same thing done while making money in the process?
