This is bull if you know the attitude gamers have about betas.
People play a beta and if anything is wrong with it people will say "IT'S JUST A BETA, EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE AND WILL BE BETTER IN THE FINAL VERSION!!!" Which has never been true anywhere. But people keep pretending that beta is some kind of an experimental version that can be totally different from the final version instead of being an almost complete game where at most minor changes can happen.
If there would have been an ACU beta everyone would've said and believed that Ubi would fix the performance issues until launch which would have not been the case.
So yeah, betas are useless for the most part.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
