Appstore has plenty of beefy full fledged titles, contrary to what people might like to tell you. It's no secret that F2P titles get played a lot though, which makes sense since they are free, plus f2p doesn't mean it's bad either since many f2p games can be played in their entirety without ever spending money.

You could always browse sites like pocketgamer to get up to date info on many of these titles.

I think Nintendo games could do well on iOS. Nintendo should at least try dumping some of their VC titles on there to give it a test run. At the least they will bring in some money.

I agree Nintendo could test the waters by making their virtual console multiplatform -- at least for NES games. It's not like that's much of a system seller. I'm just really wary of mobile gaming as a whole, especially F2P. I've been burned way too many times by that. I'll have to check out pocketgamer. Maybe that'll  give me some hope for the future of handheld gaming. *crossing my fingers*
