If her texts are distant and brief that should tell you something. Your texts are probably really involved and she probably wants to squash any feelings that you might have for her because she probably feels that you like her. Just because a girl gives you her phone number doesn't mean that she likes you. She probably just wants to be friends seeing as how she already has a boyfriend. Just go searching for a single girl....there are plenty out there.
