The US doesn't equal the world, true, but seeing as a ton of the major devs are in the west now, it's an important region to have wrapped up.

We all saw what losing the US did for the PS3 and how it benefited the 360 last gen.

Lol! The only reason that happened the previous gen was because MS launched 1 year earlier and had roughly sold 9m consoles worldwide before PS3 launched. It also helped that 360 was easier to develop for and at least $100 cheaper majority of the generation.

This time non of those factors are in play are they????

Sony have the more powerful console and roughly the same price but this time they have the lead!
