Stating your opinion isn't picking a fight. Some people find that the games that come out on Nintendo's consoles are boring, and some find the 'mature' games found on other systems boring.
It's true that one group will always outnumber the other, but it still doesn't make anyone's personal opinion or personal taste in games wrong...
I didn't see anything in those Miyamoto quotes that sounded like any kind of war cry.
