Answer me this. When FF, TR and MGS were PS1/PS2 exclusives, were they better than they are now? Do you know why that is? It's because when games are exclusive, the team is more focused and the company who's funding it doesn't have as much on the line because Sony (or whoever bought the rights for it's exclusivity) is putting alot of money behind it. This usually makes for a far better game and experience. 

This is why I'm a fan of exclusives.

Yeah, I guess that's correct as well. An exclusive game means you don't have to split your resources between platforms.

On the other hand though... The PS4 and Xbox One's architechtures are so similar, porting is easier than it's ever been. The only significant difference (in terms of coding) is the APIs they use... But I'm not a computer programmer, so maybe different APIs may as well be different architechture anyway...
